Grammy Haglind’s Peanut Butter Cookies

An unusual drop cookie recipe with a very small amount of peanut butter. Nothing like a traditional peanut butter cookie, but remarkably good.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • teaspoons soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  • Sift dry ingredients.
  • Cream peanut butter, sugar and butter.
  • Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
  • Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk and vanilla.
  • Drop by teaspoon on ungreased sheet.
  • Bake 350° 18 minutes
